Welcome to Marquette University!

New Student Orientation is an exciting event for the Marquette community. New Student Orientation, held August 23–25, 2018, includes three days of activities. Orientation sessions are designed to introduce all new students (first-year and transfer) to our academic excellence, vibrant campus life and community involvement that constitute the Marquette tradition. Students living on campus will move into their residence halls on the same day as Orientation begins.

All new first-year students and transfer students are required to check-in for Orientation on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 (also first-year student and transfer student move-in day for the residence halls) between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union (Third Floor).

Orientation events are designed to help students be successful at Marquette. For this reason, there are several events throughout the week that first-year and transfer students are required to attend, and a variety of events that are optional.

Starting August 1, check out the Marquette Guidebook app for all Orientation information.
