Welcome to Marquette! 

We are eager to welcome you and your family to the Marquette community and offer you events and programs designed to help you support your student in their first year at Marquette.

New Student Orientation takes place from Thursday, August 22 - Sunday, August 25, 2024 for all new students. 

Area hotels tend to book quickly; out-of-town families are encouraged to reserve a hotel room well in advance. On-campus housing is not available for families during New Student Orientation.

Parking during family programming is complimentary. Families may park free of charge in either of the visitor parking structures during orientation.

Be sure to utilize this resource as your one-stop shop for all new student and family information including schedules, maps, handouts, and more. The Marquette Guide will be used throughout SPARK, Orientation, and the 2024 - 2025 academic year!

Family Liturgy

New Student and Family Programs is pleased to offer a Family Liturgy during New Student Orientation. The Family Liturgy will take place on Wednesday August 21st, 2024 at 6:00 pm CST at the Church of the Gesu.
