Wisconsin Avenue Bridge opens tomorrow
The Wisconsin Avenue Bridge will open by 7 a.m. tomorrow morning, Wednesday, Nov. 29. The bridge has been closed since Jan. 2.
The opening of the bridge will increase the amount of traffic running through campus on the Avenue, and all pedestrians should exercise caution when crossing streets. Additionally, the opening of the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge will mean a decrease in traffic on Wells Street and the eventual return of bus travel to the Avenue. The new bridge will include wider sidewalks, new lighting and other architectural treatments.
Again, please use caution when walking or driving in the area and enjoy the new, bigger and more aesthetically pleasing Wisconsin Avenue Bridge!
