1. Register for Christmas Party by tomorrow

Faculty and staff are invited to share the spirit of the season at the All University Christmas Party from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, in the Monaghan Ballroom, AMU.
 
Departments and offices should notify University Special Events, 8-7431, of the number of attendees planning to attend by tomorrow, Dec. 16.

2. Mark your calendar for the President’s Address

Marquette President Robert A. Wild, S.J., will give his annual President’s Address on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 3 p.m. in the Monaghan Ballroom of the Alumni Memorial Union.

3. Last chance to order 2008 Marquette holiday cards

The Office of Marketing and Communication is offering holiday cards for purchase this Christmas season to campus departments and offices. The cards are pre-printed with a general greeting from Marquette and space for handwritten personal messages or signatures. Orders will be accepted while supplies last.

4. Class reserve requests due Dec. 23

Class reserve requests for spring 2009 should be submitted by Tuesday, Dec. 23, to ensure that library staff have sufficient time to obtain copyright permission from publishers. Faculty should also distribute their course password to their students in their syllabus or at the first class meeting.

5. News Briefs newsletter begins weekly schedule

Beginning next week, News Briefs will not be distributed on Thursdays during the semester break. News Briefs will run only on Mondays beginning next week until resuming Thursday publication Jan. 15.

6. Law School to hold information session

The Law School will host an information session for prospective students Friday, Dec. 19, at 12:30 p.m. in Sensenbrenner Hall. The session will provide information about admissions and financial aid, curriculum, intellectual and student life, and more. A brief tour of the Law School led by a current law student will follow. No registration is necessary.
