1. MARQCAT will have limited functionality July 5

There will be limited access to MARQCAT, the online library system for Raynor Memorial Libraries and Eckstein Law Library, Thursday, July 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., as the system is migrated to a new server.

During the server migration, library users will be able to search for book and media titles using MARQCATplus, the library's keyword interface for the catalog. Library databases will be available for journal article access (ProQuest, Ebsco and JSTOR) both on campus and off campus via VPN. Material checkouts will be performed manually at the Circulation and Reserve Desks. The temporary outage of the Libraries' online catalog will have minimal impact on library services. Go online for additional details.

A second outage will occur for four hours Tuesday, Aug. 7, as the Libraries bring improved services to the campus. More information about services that will be affected will be shared in News Briefs in July.

For additional questions, contact Raynor Memorial Libraries' Information Desk at 8-7556 or the Eckstein Law Library Reference Desk at 8-3837.
