University mourns death of student Brooke Peters

Marquette University is saddened by the death of Brooke Peters, a sophomore in the College of Health Sciences who lived on McCormick Hall's community floor last year. She died in a car accident Monday.

The visitation/wake will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 24, at Feller Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, Ind. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at the New Life Community Center, Hamilton, Ind.

Campus Ministry is planning to take a group of students to the services. Call Emily Schumacher, Manresa Coordinator for Liturgy, at 8-3058 for details.

Condolences can be sent to the Peters family at 495 Lane 101 Hamilton Lake, Hamilton, IN, 46742. Memorials may be directed to Shriner's Hospitals For Children, 2211 North Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707.
