Is your work in University Archives? It should be.

University Archives encourages faculty and staff to donate copies of recently published work to its "MU Writes Collection." MU Writes brings together in one location a collection of the university's scholarly achievements. The collection contains items in both print and electronic forms including books, articles, pamphlets, digests, abstracts and book reviews.

The Department of Special Collections and University Archives maintains items added to MU Writes as "archival copies" for future generations. They do not circulate outside the department; circulating copies of monographs are located in the University Libraries' general collection. Articles, scholarly papers and shorter publications are cataloged in the MARQCAT catalog under the name of each author.

Help University Archives make the collection as comprehensive as possible by submitting your publications to Archivist Matt Blessing at (414) 288-5901. In addition, faculty and staff can notify the archives of recent book publications so that a copy can be purchased for the collection.
