Come to campus this summer for one of these one-day events and take another look at Marquette before classes begin. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with faculty, administrators, current parents and students and get answers to your questions about academics, housing, financial aid, public safety, student employment, campus facilities, parking and student activities. And, since this is a family event, you can break bread with us at what is fast becoming the world-renowned Preview lunch.

New Student (and Parent) Orientation

After you drop off your student, feel free to stick around a while. We have events planned for you during the first two days of orientation. At socials and seminars, you will meet current parents, members of the Marquette Jesuit community and many others who will be teaching and working with your son or daughter.

Family Weekend

The Parents Association invites you to campus for a great fall weekend with your family and your extended Marquette family, too. While registration materials will be mailed later in the year, it’s never too early to start making your plans to experience some (or all) of the following :

  • Marquette athletics events

  • Special classes for parents taught by our professors

  • Marquette theatre performances

  • Reception with Marquette’s Jesuit community

  • Family Weekend Mass

  • Sibling bowling (no, students will not be using their siblings as pins)

  • Guided tours of the Haggerty Museum of Art
