Life on campus offers an endless supply of activities, events and attractions. basketball fans

If you have decided to live on campus in one of Marquette’s residence halls — and we hope you have — we suspect you’re eager to learn more about your new home away from home.

Because of the educational advantages enjoyed by students living in our residence halls, all unmarried first- and second-year students, regardless of academic classifications, are required to live in Marquette’s residence halls.

Submit Your Tuition and Housing Deposit

Make sure you submit your application and deposit for a residence hall to us no later than May 1, 2009 (postmarked). In May, each applicant will be randomly assigned a place on the list for housing assignments. Roommate, room type and hall preferences will be honored to the extent it’s possible, with roommate preference at the top of the list. By the time of PREVIEW, the annual June event for new students, you’ll be notified about where you’ll be living.

After we assign you a room, we’ll mail you a housing packet loaded with information including your residence hall room location and roommate(s), if any.

All residence hall students are required to purchase a meal plan each term. In addition, you may choose to purchase MarquetteCASH and deposit it into your MarquetteCard account. MarquetteCASH complements meal plans by providing occasional alternatives to traditional dining room options and flexibility for off-hours dining and snacking. Locations that accept MarquetteCASH include residence hall dining rooms, hallstores, Marquette Place Café, Annex, campus coffee shops, the Lunda Room and several off-campus vendors.
