Scholarly Conferences For the past five years, Marquette University College of Nursing INFP has developed and presented a yearly, scholarly National NFP Conference. In 2002 and 2006 the INFP collaborated with the Diocesan Development Program (DDP) of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to provide a National NFP Conference which addressed the issues of faith and science as they relate to NFP and related topics. Proceeding books of the conferences are available through Marquette University Press. 2009 the Institute will be providing NFP workshops at the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers conference June 25-28, 2009, at the University of St. Thomas. These workshops will address breastfeeding issues in NFP along with medical updates. Contact hours pending. See conference web page for details. 2010 the Institute and the USCCB will again collaborate to provide NFP updates in faith and science. This event is scheduled for July 24-25, 2009.
