Sigma Theta Tau International
Sigma Theta Tau is the honor society in nursing with chapters throughout the United States and in other countries.  Delta Gamma Chapter is based here at Marquette College of Nursing.  The mission of the organization is to provide leadership and scholarship in nursing practice, education and research.

Membership is by invitation to baccalaureate and graduate nursing students, as well as nursing leaders in the community.  Once a year undergraduate and graduate students with advanced standing are asked to join and invited to an induction ceremony at the Alumni Memorial Union.

Delta Gamma chapter meets formally throughout the year, with the following scheduled events: 

• October Awards and Hall of Fame dinner and program
• February meeting and program with two other local chapters
• April Induction Ceremony
• June dinner Meeting and Program
