Professional Experience

Dr. Janet Wessel Krejci joined Marquette after serving as vice president for academic affairs and provost at Illinois State University.

Prior to her role as provost, Dr. Krejci was dean and professor of nursing at Illinois State’s Mennonite College of Nursing from 2009–14. Previously, she spent 21 years in Marquette’s College of Nursing in roles ranging from research assistant to associate dean.

Honors and Awards
