Marquette Neighborhood Health Center

The Marquette Neighborhood Health Center provides services to women. Any agency or individual may refer clients or themselves to the health center. Services are provided without discrimination or segregation on the grounds of race, ethnic background, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital or parental status, religion, age, disability or perceived disability or veteran's status.

Primary care:

Services include primary care, health promotion, physical examinations, and diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses.

Nurse-midwifery Services:

Certified nurse-midwives provide pregnancy care, breastfeeding support and care coordination. Click here for more information.

Care for minor/acute problems:

Evaluation and treatment for minor infections, burns, sprains and strains (that do not require an emergency room visit) can often be handled at the center, usually within hours of your call. We are happy to provide this service to you if you see one of our nurse practitioners for your primary care or if you are a female Marquette employee, employee dependent or student.

Laboratory services:

Some tests are done on site at the Health Center, such as pregnancy tests, rapid strep, blood sugar and some urine tests. Other tests are sent to ACC, an in-network laboratory provider for Marquette's EPO and PPO plans.

MNHC has Flu Vaccines available now.

The single best way to prevent seasonal flu is to get vaccinated each year, but good health habits like covering your cough and washing your hands often can help stop the spread of germs and prevent respiratory illnesses like the flu.
