By plane
If you will fly directly to Milwaukee, you will arrive at Mitchell International Airport, located several miles south of the Marquette University campus. A shuttle bus (Airport Connection) leaves the airport regularly and can be arranged at the Airport Connection booking desk near Baggage Claim #3. It costs $13 for the trip to Marquette. You may wish to tip $1 per bag or suitcase to the driver. For more information about this shuttle service you may call (414) 769-2444 or check their web site. Taxis are also available at a cost of $20-25 for the trip. A customary tip for taxi service is 15%.
By airport bus from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport
If you will arrive at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, you may want to take a bus (Coach USA) directly to Milwaukee. The cost is $25.00 one-way. Coach USA leaves from the Bus Shuttle Center, Door 4. It also leaves from outside Door 5E of Terminal Five. These buses operate fourteen times daily arriving at the Milwaukee AMTRAK train station. If you need more information, inquire at the information desk at O’Hare Airport or call Coach USA at 1-800-236-2028 upon your arrival. (Calls to 1-800 telephone numbers within the U.S. are free.) By intercity train or bus
The AMTRAK trains, Greyhound Buses and Badger Buses arrive in downtown Milwaukee several blocks from the Marquette campus. There is regular taxi service from these stations to the Marquette campus at a cost of about $6.00. A customary taxi tip is about 15%.
By car
You will find the Marquette campus near the intersection of interstate expressways I-94, I-794, and I- 43. The campus is located along Wisconsin Avenue between 10th and 19th Streets. Parking is regulated and limited, especially overnight. You may park for a few hours in the Marquette parking structure on 16th Street for a small fee. See our campus map for further directions.
