The Marquette International Friendship Program begins each year at the start of the fall semester and runs until the end of the spring semester.

Participating community friends and international students are required to attend an orientation, which discusses program details and expectations. The Office of International Education then hosts a Meet-Your-Match kickoff event where community friends and international students will have the opportunity to meet for the first time. Typically, OIE also holds a closing event at the end of the academic year.

Applications due: September 21
Community Friend Orientation: September 26; 6-7 p.m.
Student Orientation: Sept. 26; 4:30-5:30 p.m. or Sept. 28; 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Meet Your Match Kickoff Event: October 3; 6-7 p.m.
