Health Insurance Marquette F-1 and J-1 visa students are required to have health insurance that is valid in the United States. Most new students have paid money in advance to join our international group insurance programs. This insurance coverage begins when the student enters the United States with student status to join Marquette. Transfer student insurance coverage begins when the student transfers to Marquette. More information about your health insurance will be provided during the orientation sessions.

Health History Forms and Immunizations

You should have already received the Required Immunization Record, Tuberculosis Screening and Medical History Form. If possible, please arrange for any needed Immunizations (part 2) and complete the Medical History Form (part 4) before arriving at Marquette. You may bring the completed form with you to the International Orientation Program. If you have lost your form, you can print another form from the Student Health Services web site.

The Marquette Student Health Service must receive your completed form no later than 30 days after the start of your first semester. Some students may be required to provide proof of tuberculosis screening in the United States. This test and other immunizations will be available, if necessary, at the Marquette Student Health Service after you arrive on the Marquette campus. Details will be available during the International Orientation or see the Student Health Services web site for more information.
