New International Student Orientation: January 11-13, 2012
For new international undergraduate, graduate and exchange students who enroll in spring semester 2012
Welcome to Marquette! The staff members of the Office of International Education are happy that you will join us at Marquette University. We are busy preparing for your arrival, and we look forward to meeting you in Milwaukee.
The orientation program for all new international students will begin:

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

A detailed schedule for orientation will also be distributed to all students on the first day of orientation. Please note that some sessions related to maintaining your visa status and health insurance will be mandatory for students with J-1 and F-1 visa status.
The orientation program is planned to help you make a great start at Marquette. This is also a fun opportunity to meet other new students from around the world.

- Obtaining your Marquette ID card
- Computer and technology resources on campus
- On-campus employment
- The American education system
- F-1 and J-1 visa regulations
- English language testing
- University Student Health Service
- Health insurance

- Tours of the campus
- Housing options
- Food services on campus
