Marquette oral history project gives snapshot of Arab-American community
Enaya Othman, visiting assistant professor of foreign languages and literature at Marquette University, along with a group of students are offering a first-of-its-kind snapshot of Milwaukee's diverse Arab-American community through oral histories collected this past summer.

Marquette University will add both men's and women's lacrosse as varsity sports beginning in spring 2013. The teams will compete as an independent in 2012-'13 and then join the Big East Conference beginning in the 2013-'14 season.

Marshfield Clinic affiliate gets state funds for dental program
An affiliate of Marshfield Clinic has secured a matching grant from the state by committing $10 million for a rural dental education program that would be the first step toward starting a second dental school in Wisconsin, a measure opposed by the Wisconsin Dental Association and the Marquette University School of Dentistry.
