$1 million given to MU dental school
A Marquette University School of Dentistry alumnus is donating $1 million toward the school's 40,000-square-foot expansion. Dr. Rick Kushner's gift to the Building for the Future campaign will help create a fifth clinic within the School of Dentistry, to be named the Comfort Dental clinic, allowing the school's patient care practice to increase by 24 stations.

A recent graduate of Marquette University's biomedical sciences program, Shona Hang is a modern-day Wisconsin immigrant success story. Hang, a Manitowoc native, was born 23 years ago in a Thai refugee camp.
