Ann Romney holds campaign rally at Marquette University
Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, rallied supporters at a rally sponsored by College Republicans at Marquette University on Thursday, Sept. 20. Marquette Junior Samantha Zager, co-chair of the Young Americans for Romney Coalition in Wisconsin, said she thinks support for Romney is greater on campus than some might realize.

Promentis receives grant to develop schizophrenia drugs
Milwaukee-based Promentis Pharmaceuticals Inc. has received a three-year, $1.8 million award from the National Institutes of Health to develop more effective drugs to treat schizophrenia. The company was founded in 2008 by Marquette faculty David Baker, professor and associate chair of biomedical sciences, and John Mantsch, professor and chair of biomedical sciences.
