Marquette Law School Poll shows Wisconsin Senate race tightening
A new Marquette Law School Poll finds Rep. Tammy Baldwin's lead over former Gov. Tommy Thompson has tightened to a 48 percent to 44 percent margin among likely voters. In the September 13-16 poll, Baldwin led by 50 percent to 41 percent. In the presidential race, President Obama continues to lead former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, 53 percent to 42 percent. In mid-September, Obama led 54 percent to 40 percent.

Police capture suspect in sex assault on Marquette student
Milwaukee police have taken a suspect into custody after a Marquette student reported a man approached her and touched her inappropriately. The student was not physically injured.

Second Marquette University student infected with mumps
A second confirmed case of mumps has infected a student at Marquette University. The City of Milwaukee's Health Department said the student appears to be linked to an earlier case of the mumps identified in a student earlier this month.
