Marquette to Celebrate 125th Anniversary Archbishop Dolan to join Marquette President for official blessing Released: Sept. 5, 2006   Students, faculty and staff will participate in a celebration of the university’s 125th anniversary on Friday, Sept. 8, at 12:30 p.m. on Central Mall. A brief program will be led by Archbishop Timothy Dolan and Marquette President Robert A. Wild, S.J., which will conclude with an official blessing of the university.  A dessert reception will follow.   Who:     Archbishop Dolan, Father Wild, faculty, students and staff   What:  Official blessing and 125th anniversary celebration   When: Friday, Sept. 8, at 12:30 p.m.   Where: Central Mall in front of the St. Joan of Arc Chapel, behind the Raynor Library at 1355 W. Wisconsin Ave. The program should last approximately 30 minutes.  In case of rain, the ceremony and blessing will be moved to Gesu Church at 1145 W. Wisconsin.
