Marquette University is proud to announce that Kathy Murphy
Hanneken has been named to the Marquette University Alumni
Association National Board. Hanneken, a Tempe resident, earned
a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Marquette in
1982. She went on to receive a Masters of Business Administration
from the University of Phoenix in 2001.
Currently, Hanneken is a member of the adjunct nursing faculty
at Maricopa Community College in the Phoenix area. She
was elected as the Southwest Regional Director to the Alumni
Association and currently serves as the chair of the Diversity
and Spirit of Ignatius committees.
The Marquette University Alumni Association is an organization
of close to 100,000 members worldwide. Its mission is
to help Marquette University, as an urban, Catholic, Jesuit
institution, become one of the nation's most distinguished
universities. It strives to bring all alumni closer
to the university and one another in the Ignatian tradition
of care for every individual.
