Marquette University Department of Performing Arts to Present As it is in Heaven Released: April 15, 2005 Marquette University’s Department of Performing Arts presents Arlene Hutton’s play As it is in Heaven.  The play will run Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 24, 2005 at the Helfaer Theatre, located at 525 N. 13th Street.  Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. As it is in Heaven portrays eight women living in a Shaker commune, dealing with the rigid routine of their everyday lives.  Through singing, dancing, and visions of angels, the women come to question their faith, leaving some to wonder if the community they have worked so hard to build will survive.
