Nunsense to be Performed at Marquette
Released: Sept. 13, 2006
Marquette University’s Department of Performing Arts presents the Dan Goggin’s musical comedy, Nunsense, at the Evan P. and Marion Helfaer Theatre, located at Clybourn and 13th Street.
When several of the Little Sisters of Hoboken are accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, the surviving sisters put on a show to raise funds for their burials. Directed by Bill Kincaid, musical direction Jack Forbes Wilson and choreography by Amy Brinkman, Nunsense is the winner of four Outer Circle Critic Awards, including “Best Off-Broadway Musical.” The New York Times calls it “a hail of fun and frolic!” Entertainment tonight says, “You don‘t have to be Catholic to love Nunsense.”
