ESPN's Managing Editor to Speak at Marquette

MILWAUKEE – Marquette University is pleased to present Norby Williamson, Senior Vice President and Managing Editor of ESPN, as the 2004 Pete and Bonnie Axthelm Memorial Program Lecturer at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2004.

As senior vice president and managing editor at ESPN, Williamson is responsible for the day-to-day content of all news and information programming as well as ESPNEWS, the nation's only 24-hour television sports news service.

Williamson also provides leadership and editorial direction for major sporting events such as the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, World Series, MLB All-Star game, Stanley Cup Final, the Final Four, golf's four major championships, BCS national championship, the Indianapolis 500, Triple Crown and championship boxing.

Parking for the event is available in the structure at 749 N. 16 th St., between Wisconsin Ave. and Wells St.
