Fish, Rice and Vegetables for Thanksgiving
Both traditional and international
fare
will honor the holiday at Marquette

Volunteers will serve Thanksgiving dinner
to more than 300 members of the Marquette community Thursday,
including international students and those not able to travel
home for the holiday. The celebration will include fish,
rice and vegetables along side the more traditional Thanksgiving
fare of turkey, stuffing, cranberries and pumpkin pie.
The dinner is sponsored by University Ministry with the help
of Sodexho Food Service and the Office of Residence Life.
It is served in memory of Fr. William McEvoy, S.J.,
who first provided this annual dinner for students during
the 1950's in the basement of the Dental School building.
Dinner will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the
Schroeder Hall dining room. For information on Thursday,
