Marquette Welcomes Anne Broeker to Office of Public Affairs Released: Dec. 1, 2004 Marquette University is pleased to announce that Anne Broeker has joined the Office of Public Affairs as the senior media relations specialist.  Broeker will be a contact for media inquires, as well as serve as a resource for story ideas. She joins Brigid O'Brien and Anne Broeker on the media relations team. Broeker comes to Marquette with more than eight years of public and media relations experience.  Most recently, she was a senior public relations manager for Zizzo Group Advertising and Public Relations in Milwaukee.  She began her career as an intern for the Milwaukee Admirals hockey club, where she eventually became the director of communications.   Broeker then served as a communications manager for the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), the governing body for women's professional tennis.  She also served in public relations capacities for Sportvision, Inc. and Manhattanville College. "Anne's broad public relations experience will help expand Marquette's outreach activities on both the local and national level.  At Marquette, we strive to be a first-rate resource for media and Anne will be a strong complement in that regard,” said Brigid O'Brien, Director of University Communication.
