**Photo Opportunity** Marquette Fans Celebrate the Men’s Basketball Team as they Take a Bite out of the Big Apple Released: March 7, 2006 MILWAUKEE – In anticipation of the Marquette men’s basketball team’s appearance in the Big East Conference Tournament, the Marquette Crystal Valley RV will be parked outside Alumni Memorial Union (on the east side of the building) on Thursday, March 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students will pick up “golden apples” from the Marquette-themed RV before heading over to the Union Sports Annex at 804 N. 16th St. to watch the Marquette Golden Eagles play in the second round of the tournament at Madison Square Garden. Marquette received a bye in the first round of the tournament after finishing fourth in the conference in regular season play and will play the winner of the Georgetown/Notre Dame game. The Marquette game will be televised on ESPN at 1 p.m. on Thursday. The Annex will extend its hours to be open for all Big East Conference Tournament games. The popular We Are Marquette posters and yard signs will be visible around campus as the tournament progresses.  Media parking will be available on the east side of the Union.  Photographers should pull in to the long driveway on the south side of Wells St., just east of 14th Street.  For additional information on spirit activities in the Marquette community, media may call Anne Broeker in the office of Marketing and Communication at (414) 288-0286.
