CEO of Eaton Corporation
Alexander Cutler as Keynote Speaker for Business Leaders

Marquette University is pleased to welcome Alexander (Sandy)
M. Cutler, chairman and CEO of Eaton Corporation, as part
of the Business Leaders Forum luncheon on Tuesday,
October 18, 2005. Mr. Cutler's presentation is titled “Business
Transformation.” The event is open to the public; to register

Established in 1999, the Business Leaders Forum is
a speaker series sponsored by Marquette University 's College
of Business Administration. The forum provides a setting for
nationally recognized business leaders to engage in discussions
and interact with students, faculty and local business leaders.
The program enables Marquette to build practical knowledge
into its rigorous business curriculum, exploring current trends,
issues and practices in business.
Following the luncheon keynote address, Mr. Cutler will share
personal insights and knowledge from his years of business
expertise with students and faculty in the College of Business
Administration.
"The Business Leaders Forum provides our students with
an invaluable opportunity to interact and learn from our nation's
top business leaders. We are honored to have the chairman
and CEO of a global company such as Eaton Corp. speak to our
students and business leaders from the area,” said Dr. David
L. Shrock, dean of Marquette 's College of Business Administration
. "Mr. Cutler's leadership of a company that employs
57,000 people with customers in over 125 countries sets a
great example for our students and what they can achieve.”

their respective professions to speak at the Business Leaders
Forum. Past speakers include: Jeffrey R. Immelt, chairman
of the Board and CEO of G.E.; Don H. Davis, Jr., chairman
and CEO Rockwell Automation; Wayne Sanders, CEO, Kimberly
Clark Corporation; Dick Burke, chairman, Trek Bicycle Corp.;
John Morgridge, chairman of the Board, Cisco Systems; and
Kathy Hudson, chairman, CNH Global.
The Kathleen and Frank Thometz Foundation has made the Business
Leaders Forum speaker series possible through a special endowment.
About Mr. Cutler, chairman and CEO of Eaton Corporation
Born in Milwaukee, Alexander M. Cutler
earned a bachelor of arts from Yale University and a master
of business administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business
Administration at Dartmouth College . He began his career
with Cutler- Hammer in 1975. After it was acquired by Eaton,
he subsequently held various positions with the company until
assuming his current role in August, 2000. Eaton Corporation
is headquartered in Cleveland and does business in over 125
countries throughout the world.
