Marquette Students to Host a Benefit
Concert
for the Victims of Hurricane Katrina

Choirs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison,
UW-Whitewater and Carthage College will join the Marquette
University Gospel Choir Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005 for Voices
for the People, a concert to benefit victims of Hurricane
Katrina. The concert will be held at the Varsity Theater located
at 1324 W. Wisconsin Ave. Doors open at 3:15 p.m. and the
show will start at 4:00 p.m.

and Marquette University

Where: Varsity Theater, 1324 W. Wisconsin Ave.
This concert is sponsored by the Marquette University Black
Student Council, the Marquette University Gospel Choir and
the group Music Initiates Change. The event is free and open
to the public, but donations for those who were affected by
Hurricane Katrina will be gladly accepted. Donations will
be given to The American Red Cross and Catholic Charities,
U.S.A.
