Marquette to host panel discussion on social innovation, entrepreneurship

MILWAUKEE – Marquette University will host “Innovation for Social Impact: Starting and Funding Solutions to Our Most Pressing Problems” on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in the third-floor ballroom of the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave. The event will feature a panel discussion by four noted experts in the field of social entrepreneurship, including internationally recognized social entrepreneur Jane Leu

The panel discussion and subsequent audience question-and-answer period will explore how to take a vision from idea to implementation, how to raise capital for a social innovation and how social entrepreneurs blend the for-profit and nonprofit sectors in pursuit of greater impact.
