The Counseling Center offers online resources to assist online students adjust to student life while completing their degree. The center provides resources to:

• Improve academic performance
• Balance career, school and family
• Relaxation techniques

If you are in Wisconsin or near Milwaukee, stop by.  We are located in Holthusen Hall, 2^nd Floor

Because your physical location may be outside the state of Wisconsin, we suggest the following in identifying a local resources in your community.

• Ask your general practitioner for a referral to a counselor
• Call the phone number on your insurance card for referrals
• Use Psychology Today’s therapist guide
• If you are uninsured, contact your local county system or resource hotline and ask about low cost or free counseling available in your area.

If at any point you are in crisis or need immediate assistance either call 911 or if you are able, go to a local emergency room.
