Survey Results: Conclusions
The feedback process is perceived to be fair and thorough,
and Marquette stakeholders say a similar process should have
been used in 1994 when the athletics nickname was changed from
Warriors to Golden Eagles.
- 87% agree (92% of alumni, 78% of students, 81% of faculty
and 86% of staff) a feedback process similar
to this one should have been done in 1994 when Marquette
changed from Warriors to Golden Eagles.
- 72% agree (75% of alumni, 66% of students, 65% of faculty
and 75% of staff) this process seems fair.
- 68% agree (71% of alumni, 62% of students, 62% of faculty
and 70% of staff) this process seems thorough
and complete.
- 67% agree (71% of alumni, 59% of students, 59% of faculty
and 68% of staff) that Marquette values their
opinion on this matter.
- 57% trust (60% of alumni, 51% of students, 48% of faculty
and 56% of staff) this feedback process.
- 30% feel (28% of alumni, 36% of students, 35% of faculty
and 28% of staff) the outcome of this feedback
process is predetermined.
