Marquette Racing Will Not Compete In SAE WEST
Marquette Racing will not be traveling to California in June to compete in the SAE WEST competition. Due to events which occurred in the weeks following SAE VIR in April, Marquette Racing was re-evaluated in terms of liability by the University, and thus current activities are suspended until the issue is resolved. Marquette Racing is looking towards the future and excited about what the next year will bring. Several team members traveled to Michigan for a suspension kinematics class, paid for my the Dean of the College of Engineering, which will enable the team to bring a new level of competition to Marquette Racing. As Dean Stan said best, "[Marquette Racing] is a valued group within the College of Engineering", and he looks forward to many more years with a successful team at the University.
