The mission of Best Buddies is to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment.
A special thank you to the showcase committee (Elizabeth Fay, Mary Rose Richter,
Rachel Renteria, Chelsea Real and Samantha Bear). The committee worked very hard to make our first showcase a success. They got over 30 silent auction items donated and organized the entire show, including getting other Marquette students to volunteer that are not a part of Best Buddies. The showcase was a huge success; we raised over $3,000!

"Alison and I have a unique friendship.To an outsider you might not guess that our bond is as strong as it is, but we know we are best buddies! We always end our phone conversations with 'I love you buddy,' which is a nice thing to hear. I sincerely appreciate Alison’s friendship and I know even after graduation Alison and I will remain buddies."
