CommUNITY Mission StatementCommUNITY is more than a living option for Marquette freshmen and more than a class students take to learn about social justice and leadership. As members of CommUNITY, we are proud to bring our different cultures, races, religions, and opinions to McCormick Hall. We do this through our daily interactions with one another; the birthday parties and ethnic celebrations we share; the service projects we take part in; and the discussions and debates we have in class. Our main belief is that there is always something to be learned, no matter who has the floor in a discussion or what cultural program we attend on the Marquette campus. When we participate in cross-cultural events we do so with an open mind, determined to broaden our knowledge of the world around us. We want CommUNITY to be a cultural experience that challenges students to open up themselves to different ways of thinking and living. Click here for more CommUNITY information. |
