Where are the University Apartments?We have eight communities from which to choose, all located on the Marquette campus: Campus Town East – 1500 West Wells Street *Carmel, Trebor, and Kalt will not be available for the 2009-2010 leasing periods. We will not be extending leases past May, 2009. How Do I Apply for a University Apartment?Our online assignment process is a fast, convenient way to sign up for an apartment. To sign up for a university-owned apartment, please see the timeline below. Wednesday, October 1 – Monday, November 3: Students who are current residents but know they wish to return to their same apartment for the 2009-2010 academic year may sign up for their same apartment anytime before Monday, November 3. October 16-17: Midterm break. Monday, October 20- Friday, October 31: Deposit collection. Monday, November 3: Deadline to sign up for same apartment. Tuesday, November 4: Displaced student assignment, if necessary (Carmel, Trebor, Kalt). Wednesday, November 5: Current residents may sign up for same building. Thursday, November 6: Current residents may move between buildings. Monday, November 10: New student assignment. Sign-up for the Global VillageIf you are interested in studying abroad, but your program is too time intensive, if you are fascinated by different cultures and/or languages, if you have studied abroad and you truly loved the experience, the Global Village is for you. This unique living environment for Marquette juniors, seniors, and graduate students (termed “ambassadors”), and international exchange students is designed to assist in the acclimation of exchange students to the Marquette and Milwaukee communities through directed educational, social, and multicultural programming; simultaneously, the environment offers Marquette students in relevant fields, such as International Business and/or Languages, the opportunity to further their studies through practical application and networking.
