Anticipation Fulfilled - My Home

A signature Marquette University pillar after the first snowfall on campus. The first snowfall at Marquette is surreal. The campus takes on a whole different feel. Yes, I am from Wisconsin and I get snow every year, but seeing it overtake campus is such a pretty sight the first time it happens. Students have a different feeling within them when they see the snow, which is pretty cool.

Piggybackin' - My Community

David Mysliwy getting a piggy-back ride from Tyler Waitkus. At the center of this photo are two friends I made at Marquette Preview, David and Tyler. This was taken the first week of school as our group of friends from preview were walking to dinner. The photo captures what the friendship among all of us is: fun, energetic, and not afraid to be ridiculous.

That Freshman Feeling - My Community

A group of students discussing our Freshman Reading Project. The discussion about our summer reading book was interesting, to say the least. I chose this photo because of the lens flare and how it accurately captures the mood of the Marquette campus during the first few weeks of school: relaxed, warm, and social.

Sunday through Friday - My Faith

Raynor Memorial Library at sunset. The Raynor library became my home away from my dorm over my first year at Marquette. With plenty of available tables and chairs, it's a great place to study and get work done, or waste a few hours on Facebook.

Energy - My Community

Packed Bradley Center for the Marquette v. Wisconsin (Madison) men's basketball game. Aside from the fact that Marquette v. Wisconsin is one of the biggest games of the season, going to Marquette Basketball games is something that each student should experience at least once. The energy of the fans and the band matches all the excitement happening on the floor. Going with friends makes it all the better.

Bingo - In the Eye of the Beholder

Bingo chips at Annex Bingo Wednesdays. Bingo night at the Union Sports Annex is by far one of the most fun experiences at Marquette. Playing fast paced bingo to win prizes is a great way to break from homework and whatnot. Currently, my friends and I covet a crock pot; we request it for each bingo night and will stop at nothing until we win (which we haven't yet).

School Colors - My Faith

A glance at Marquette in the fall. This picture captures the beauty of what I believe to be the best season. The picture captures much of what the fall semester at Marquette is: energetic, colorful and fun.
