Something you have learned working with Marquette Students: I learned if you stay committed to Marquette students and their success, they will stay committed to you! I feel like I learn something new every day interacting with students at Marquette, which allows me to be a better person and professional.
Why you chose to work in Multicultural Affairs at MU: I get to work with the best students and student organizations on campus, especially those involved with our Leadership Council…..why else?? Seriously, my personal dedication to social justice education and diversity/multicultural awareness has significantly influenced my professional and educational endeavors. There are so many opportunities to educate and support students in these areas with the work we do in Multicultural Affairs.
Goals for the Year:
-I want to meet and connect with more students and student leaders (you keep my work interesting!)

-We also look forward to making improvements to the Multicultural Center so it becomes a premiere educational and social space that promotes inclusivity for our diverse student population at Marquette.

Something I’ve learned working with Marquette Students: Marquette students are incredibly conscious of our institutional mission and are heavily engaged in bettering the community through service.
Why I work in Multicultural Affairs: I believe that our community is enriched by the differences in experiences and identities that our students possess. I work in Multicultural Affairs because I think it is necessary to support and challenge ourselves to think differently about issues and to promote learning across cultures, identities, and experiences.
Goals for the year: I want to get to know as many students as possible and engage them in conversations about issues of difference.  I also want to see Multicultural Affairs be recognized as a place of support, promotion, and education
