Programs & Events

Community GPS

Community GPS is a series of student led discussion groups that provide students with an opportunity to share their experiences on campus. Three groups will be offered: 1 MU for First Generation College Students, Male Empowerment Network (MEN) for men interested in diversity and inclusion on campus, and Diverse Individuals Valuing Another (DIVA) for women interested in diversity and inclusion on campus. All meetings are free and open to all students. Refreshments will be served. Golden Roses Celebration

Multicultural Affairs in the Office of Student Development will be celebrating the contributions that women faculty, staff, and administrators have made in supporting underrepresented student populations on campus. Students and employees have the opportunity to nominate any women working at Marquette who have helped to form a more inclusive campus environment, or who have contributed to the University’s mission of supporting underrepresented student populations. ReelTalk

Multicultural Affairs in the Office of Student Development will be sponsoring a monthly social justice and diversity film series, ReelTalk, to help raise awareness of issues and trends facing certain underrepresented communities. Scholarships

Pedro Arrupe Award

The Marquette University Alumni Association (MUAA) invites you to nominate a student for the Pedro Arrupe Award. This award was established in 1991 to recognize a Marquette junior, man or woman, who emulates the values and ideals of the Fr. Arrupe, the Superior General of the Society of Jesus from 1965 to 1981, as being a "man or woman for others."

The $2500 award will honor a student who:

• Is a junior in good standing and maintains full-time undergraduate status in 2012-2013
• Is involved in service in and beyond the Marquette Community
• Has provided leadership in community service and advocacy for those in need.

Kohl's Career Education Scholarship

The Marquette University Career Services Center and Kohl’s Corporate is pleased to offer Career Education Scholarships. These scholarships are designed to make it possible for Marquette University Registered Student Organization to offer career education programming to its members.
