SPARK, which occurs in summer, is a mandatory for all new first-year students and offers students and their families the opportunity to peer into their lives at Marquette University and prepare for their upcoming transition to college. During the June two-day programs, students will register for classes, meet with representatives from the colleges and campus community and have the opportunity to meet their fellow classmates.

SPARK is designed for New Students and their parents/guardians who will be helping support their student through their Marquette experience. Students and guests will have separate programming and schedules to help provide information and answer questions.

Personalized registration links are available on your Marquette Student Status page in November and after payment of the tuition deposit. We are encouraging registration as soon as possible and it is required for all new students prior to May 10, 2018.

Students attending Sessions 1-5 will be assigned housing in one of our residence halls on campus. Guests will need to book their own accommodations on campus by contacting Marquette Conference Services (414) 288-7887 or at local hotels. One campus option will be Straz Tower. Please make these arrangements as soon as possible as space is limited and not guaranteed.

For students and families traveling long distances, we recommend flying into Milwaukee on Day 1 by 11am and flying out on Day 2 after 3pm.

For questions, please contact the Office of Student Development at newstudentprogs@marquette.edu or 414-288-1412.
