Technology Resources

If you've used any assistive technology to access class material in high school, there is equipment available at Marquette for your use. Housed in Raynor Library, Room 024, is a work station containing three PCs with Kurzweil, Dragon Naturally Speaking, and ZoomText, that offers effective access to printed materials for students with vision or reading-related disabilities.  One short training session with an ODS staff member will enable you to use the equipment.  On the same of the PCs are software programs along with a portable Telex Scholar CD player that are designed to provide access to texts recorded on CD from Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D).

The links below list downloadable software and other vendors that offer products to help students access class material.
