Faculty/Staff

For parking purposes, faculty/staff is defined as any full- or part-time employee. Part-time employees enrolled in seven or more semester hours of credit courses are defined as students. Regular university employees may pay for their parking permit via pre-tax payroll deductions. Non-university employees engaged in work directly related to university operations are classified as faculty/staff. Assignments to specific parking facilities are primarily based on seniority.

Employees are issued a two year permit that is renewed during the summer months of even-numbered years.  New permits and log assignments, if applicable, are awarded during this reassignment process.  In the interim, employees can secure a parking permit, gate card and assignment to a parking facility by stopping by the parking office, which is located in the Wells Street Structure, and completing a paper application.  Employees will need their university identification number and vehicle information to complete the process.

Visitors Parking Rates:
Weekdays 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. $5.00
Weekdays 5 p.m. to midnight $3.00

Parking Vouchers for Visitors

Parking Services offers a series of vouchers to university colleges/departments/organizations that do not want their guests to be charged for parking.  These vouchers are sold to the departments in advance, and it is the host department's responsibility for ensuring that their guests have the vouchers in hand when they arrive on campus.

Instead of using cash, coin or credit, the visitors insert the voucher into the auto-cashier pay station.  Weekday daytime vouchers are discounted from the $5 entry charge to $4, while the evening/weekend voucher is discounted from $3 to $2.

Contractor

All contractors who are working temporarily on the Marquette University campus for construction, renovation or repair purposes must obtain a special permit for their vehicle from the Parking Office. Permits will be issued for the duration of the contract assignment.

Contractor/Supplier deliveries to the various buildings on campus can be made from the access points show in this map.
