Current information on Grant Opportunities from the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs can be found here: ON CAMPUS FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES The Helen Way Klinger College of Arts and Sciences has announced its annual call for applications for "Humanities-oriented academic projects designed to improve undergraduate education." These grants are given to projects "based primarily on the promise of the project to significantly advance undergraduate learning in the College." Average grant amount is ca. $4500. DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS Smith Family Fellowships - support doctoral dissertation research away from Milwaukee with both a monthly stipend and travel funds. Arthur J. Schmitt Fellowships - support students doing doctoral dissertation research and writing with a monthly stipend. John P. Raynor, S.J. Fellowships - support students doing doctoral dissertation research and writing with a monthly stipend. OFF CAMPUS FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES The Stanford Humanities Center will award six to eight external faculty fellowships for the academic year 2006-2007.
