Pain and injury often get in the way of our busy lifestyles of work, activities, recreation and exercise. If you’re concerned about nagging pain, an injury that won’t heal or a new injury, we can help.
The new Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic is a full-service rehabilitation/sports medicine clinic that offers the expertise of licensed physical therapists and licensed athletic trainers with the convenience of an on-campus location. Based in the College of Health Sciences’ nationally ranked Department of Physical Therapy, the clinic offers Marquette students and employees the following:
In addition to our rehabilitation clinic, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art equipment in our body composition, strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, and motion analysis laboratories. The clinic also features handicap-accessible bathrooms with showers.
Our convenient, flexible hours make it easy to fit rehab around busy work and class schedules. If you are a student, your insurance will be directly billed for services as we are NOT covered by the student health fee. Marquette Cash can be used to cover any co-pays that your insurance might require. If you are a Marquette employee, we will directly bill your insurance for you. The Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic is an in-network provider for all Marquette University health plans.
About our director
Jeff Wilkens, MPT, is an alumnus of Marquette’s Department of Physical Therapy. Since graduating in 1999, he has worked as a physical therapist for the Kenosha Unified School District, Balistreri & Associates Physical Therapy and the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Medicine Center. He has experience treating orthopedic patients throughout the age spectrum with an emphasis on active adults and youth. While at Froedtert, he worked with high school, college and professional athletes and coordinated the Runners Clinic and Golf Performance Enhancement Program. He looks forward to using his expertise to help his alma mater’s students and employees live happier, healthier lives.
