Francisco Rivera is a physical therapist in the Marquette Sports Rehabilitation Clinic. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Marquette University in 2002, and received his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2004 from Marquette. During his time at Marquette, he also received his certification in Athletic Training.
After graduation, Francisco worked as an athletic trainer for the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club. He then coordinated the outpatient PT services for Aegis Therapies in Greendale, Wisconsin. In Florida, Francisco worked at the Physical Therapy Institute and Health Rehab performing out patient orthopedic spine and sports rehab. He served as adjunct faculty at the University of Miami, instructing and assessing progress of DPT students in evaluation and treatment of the spine. Upon returning to Wisconsin, Francisco worked for Medical Staffing Network, evaluating and treating patients in home health, subacute rehab and acute settings. He also served as adjunct faculty at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI in the Physical Therapy and Biomechanics department. Currently, he is the athletic trainer for the Marquette Women’s Rugby Team.
