
Students from the Physician Assistant Studies program excelled at the April 2012
Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants State Medical Challenge Bowl. Seven
teams from Marquette competed and placed 1-7 against the other teams from
University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse and Carroll
University. By winning first place at the state competition, Marquette’s PA
program became eligible to send a five-member student team to compete at the
American Academy of Physician Assistants Student Medical Challenge Bowl in
Toronto, Ontario.
The team that competed in Canada included Zachary D’Arenzio, Kate Papenfuss, Beth Geiger, Lupita Guerra and Emilie Laurent.
