The St. Ignatius Legacy Society's goal is to recognize our foresighted alumni and friends who have demonstrated their commitment to the future of Marquette University through an estate provision or planned gift.
The generosity from our members places an enduring imprint on the university and expresses faith in Marquette's educational mission: cultivating men and women committed to excellence, faith, leadership and service to others.
Scholarships, resources for faculty, funds for mission in faith and justice — all are part of the Marquette legacy, and you can help us sustain it. We invite all our planned giving donors to join our St. Ignatius Legacy Society.
If you have included Marquette in your estate plan, be sure to let us know. We will acknowledge your generosity and goodwill personally.
Your gift does make a difference! Whatever its size — we truly appreciate your thoughtful generosity and commitment to the future of Marquette University!
St. Ignatius Legacy Society members gathered for a lively pre-game reception on Saturday, February 16, 2013, before the Marquette men’s basketball team defeated Pittsburgh. The Golden Eagle stopped by for a surprise visit, and student ambassadors led the group in a rousing cheer of “Ring Out Ahoya,” Marquette’s beloved fight song.

This is how Jim and Jane Strenski describe what is important to them as benefactors.
