Youth Empowered to Succeed Mentors and YES students
The Pre-college Program offers a mentoring based curriculum where the participants are paired with a Marquette physical therapy student to participate in a variety of after school activities that provide an introduction to the field of physical therapy and exercise sciences. Funding for the program is provided by the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Participants must be from the Metro Milwaukee area. The program lasts for eight weeks and ends with a recognition dinner at which the students give a short presentation on something they have learned.

To be eligible you must:

  • Be a high school Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.7
  • Applicant must be eligible for free or reduced school lunch in order to participate
